1. General

1.1 These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Sweet As Car Grooming Ltd, a company registered and operating under the laws of New Zealand.

1.2 By booking a service, either online, via phone, or in person, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.

​

1.3 We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Service Overview

​

2.1 Sweet As Car Grooming Ltd provides car cleaning, detailing, and grooming services for vehicles of all types, including interior and exterior treatments.

​

2.2 While we strive to maintain consistency in service delivery and pricing, all bookings are subject to visual inspection of the vehicle upon arrival.

​

2.3 Prices displayed on our website are indicative only and may be adjusted based on the actual condition of the vehicle at the time of service.

​

3. Pet Hair Removal & Mess-Dependent Charges

​

3.1 Excessive pet hair, dirt, sand, mould, stains, food residue, or other contaminants that require additional time and labour will incur additional charges.

​

3.2 The base price for our grooming packages does not include pet hair removal, unless otherwise specified during booking.

​

3.3 A final quote will be provided after initial inspection, and we reserve the right to refuse service if the vehicle condition significantly exceeds standard grooming requirements.

​

3.4 In cases where pet hair is embedded in upholstery or carpets, a special extraction charge may apply, starting from NZD $25 and up, depending on severity.

​

4. Bookings & Cancellations

​

4.1 Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or email. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

​

4.2 We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service charge.

​

4.3 No-shows without communication may result in denial of future service bookings.

​

5. Payments

​

5.1 Payment is due in full at the completion of service unless pre-arranged.

​

5.2 We accept payment via EFTPOS, credit card, and cash.

​

5.3 All pricing is listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and includes GST unless otherwise stated.

6. Liability

​

6.1 While we take every precaution in handling your vehicle with care, Sweet As Car Grooming Ltd shall not be held liable for:

• Pre-existing damages or defects

• Loss of personal belongings left inside the vehicle

• Damage resulting from heavily soiled or hazardous vehicle conditions

​

6.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to remove all valuables before handing over the vehicle for service.

​

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

​

7.1 If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will assess the issue and may offer a re-clean or partial refund at our discretion.

​

8. Governing Law

​

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
